I wasn't sure if what happened in the filler arc actually happened when it came to the next What I found though was after the filler seasons, I felt I was confused to what was 'canon' and what wasn't. I didn't mind the filler seasons personally, but if I had read the manga first, I might have thought differently. There is also the fact that this was before the filler seasons were introduced.
